Bus Routes & Transportation

Transportation Information

Madison School District offers school bus transportation within the district boundaries. Families with open enrollment students who live outside the school attendance area may register their student for any bus stop serving their school if space is available.

Students should arrive 5 minutes prior to the scheduled stop time in the morning. Stop times may be updated based on attendance. Stop times in the afternoon vary due to actual release time from the school, traffic and other unforeseen circumstances.

Identification Badges & the MyRide K-12 App

Ensuring our students are safe and get to where they are supposed to be is our top priority. We also want to be sure families have the ability to stay up-to-date with information about their child's bus route and any potential delays.

All students will receive a Madison ID badge. Students should scan their badge when boarding and exiting the bus. This helps our staff know who gets on and off the bus and where.

Families can download the MyRide K-12 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to get real-time information about where their child's bus is along the route and the anticipated drop-off time. They can also receive alerts if the bus will be delayed.

If you have any questions, please contact our Transportation department. For replacement ID badges, please contact your child's school.
